Winter – Marissa Meyer

“What did you bring me today? Delusional mutterings with a side of crazy?

Scarlet
Winter (Lunar chronicles #4) by marissa meyer

šŸ“–ā€Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than her stepmother Queen Levana. Winter despises her stepmother—who doesn’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend and palace guard, Jacin—and together with Cinder and her allies, might even have the power to launch the revolution and win a war that’s been waging for far too long…ā€šŸ“–

4/5 STARS

I really loved this last novel in the Lunar Chronicles Series!

I think that this book really rounded out all the stories nicely and was a great ending to wrap up the series. (although I want more of the characters and am super glad that I can read more in the Novellas šŸ˜‚)

I only bumped it down 1 Star for one reason—

I just wasn’t the biggest fan of Princess Winter. Since her character was quite literally losing her mind, I didn’t connect with the character and it was hard for me to read her POV. She just kind of fell flat for me, and I didn’t love her and Jacin as much as the other characters.

Cress and Thorne are still my very favorite of the characters šŸ˜šŸ„° And I loved the progression of them and the other couples stories and relationships in this book.

Overall- Great conclusion! Plenty of action, romance and suspense to keep you highly entertained. I highly recommend this series! šŸ™ŒšŸ¼
